Her beautiful dress Grandma McNair bought her. She wore it to church this morning but we didn't actually spend much time in church cause she was a fussy butt..But she looked cute anyways:)

Adisyn Loves her baths

A picture of her after her bath. I had a few more and accidentally erased them..So this is all I have for now. Her baths relax her and she loves laying on her changing table afterwards and just kicks her feet. Poor thing has baby acne really bad on her cheeks. In the last day it seems to be clearing up a little but I feel bad because it is from the hormones she is getting from my breastmilk.

Thank Goodness for baby swings!!

She loves this swing. She sleeps in it almost every morning from 8-11:30 and then in the afternoon she lays in it and watches the little things move around. Sometimes she would rather be in this than be held. I am trying not to hold her all day (even though I really want to) so that when she goes to the babysitter she won't expect to be held all the time. We only have 3 and a half weeks left before I go back to work:(

1 month old!!!

Can't believe she is 1 month today. She is so fun and staying awake so much more. I love just watching her.

Pucker up!!

She would pucker up her lips like this in the womb too. I had to have a sonogram every week for 3 weeks to check the fluid levels before she was born and she would always be making this face. It is so funny when she does it now too. I was so excited when I captured a picture of it. She makes some of the cuttest little noises too. She is just to freakn' cute:)

Our 4th Anniversary!

Our Anniversary was on August 5th. We celebrated completely different this year. We have made a tradition to go to the Melting Pot every year. Well since Miss Adisyn joined us this year that was not possible. But she was a good exception to our tradition. Instead we had my whole family together for the first time in 2 years. It was so nice. Mom and Dad took us out to eat for our Anniversary and we went to one of our favorite restaurants, the Jazz. Adisyn did so good, they were even playing really loud Jazz music and you could barely hear what anyone was saying but she slept through it all.

I just wanted to say after 4 years I am even more in love with my husband (didn't think that was possible.) He is beyond AMAZING!!! Having Adisyn drew us even closer together. Can't explain what having a child does to your relationship. Seeing what our love has created is unbelievable. Our little family is just perfect:) I love you Honey and thanks for all you do!!!

Adisyn's first Dr. visit

Sorry I have been a little behind on updates. Adisyn is doing well. Took her to the Dr. last Thurs. and everything ck'd out ok. She weighed 8 lbs 4 oz. when we left the hospital and on Thurs. she weighed 8 lbs. 11 oz so she gained 7 oz. And she grew length wise just a tiny bit. She managed to blow up her diaper in the waiting room and then I cleaned her up and then the nurse took her to weigh her and she peed on the nurse.

As for me, the breastfeeding isn't going as well as I had hoped. She only likes to nurse on my right side. I got a clogged milk duct on the left breast (which hurts really bad) and ever since then she hasn't wanted to nurse on my left side. This makes feedings a little more difficult because I have to pump every time so I can nurse her from the right and then feed her a bottle too. I even called the lactation nurse and she said there isn't much else I can do but to keep trying and doing what I am doing.

Moe and I are both really exhausted. He is home with me this week, which is so nice... He is a huge help. He cooked dinner tonight and has been getting up with her in the morning and feeding her so I can get at least 3 hrs of sleep in a row. I usually only get 1-2 hrs at a time. She has been a little bit more fussy this week. There is about 3 hrs in the day that she kind of whines and we aren't sure what she wants exactly. But I read in some books that this is normal. She is staying awake more and more during the day and eating and going right back to sleep almost every night. Overall she is a great baby and we are super blessed. I know some people that have babies that cry for hours. She just makes whimper noises mostly. She loves her sponge baths, still has her umbilical cord so we can't put her in her tub till that falls off.

We have taken her out a few times with us and she slept the entire time we were out and about so she didn't even know she left the house. Even though I have lack of sleep this has been the coolest adventure in my life. I am loving being a mom to such a precious little girl.

She did so good, didn't get upset about it. Most babies scream to the top of their lungs I think she enjoyed it.

Happy Birthday Duke!

Duke turned 8 years old July 30th

Adisyn is a week old!

Adisyn is doing sooooo good. She is eating every 2-3 hrs and is breastfeeding like a champ. We no longer have to trick her. We had one night where she kept me up for a few hours but other than that she eats and goes right back to sleep. She is staying awake a little more during the day. She really only gets a little fussy when she is ready to eat. I am so lucky that she rarely cries. I couldn't ask for a better baby. She has her first Dr. appt. Thurs morning. So hopefully she is staying on track with everything. I think she is. I can't believe she is a week old already. I know the next 18 years are just going to fly by.

Moe and I are doing good. Mom is making us really good meals and we are really going to miss all of her help. We are enjoying being parents. It is such an amazing feeling that you can't describe. It makes you appreciate your own parents that much more. It is a lot of work but so rewarding and worth every minute. Grandpa (McPapa) got here late Fri. night and it is so nice to have both my parents here.Uncle Chris gets here Thurs afternoon.

I will keep posting pictures, I think I take pictures of her every opportunity. You can never have enough pictures.
