9 month Dr. Appointment

Adisyn will be 9 months on Easter. We went for her 9 month check-up on Friday. She is doing GREAT!!! She is growing so tall. She is in the 95th percentile for height (measuring at 29 inches) must get that from her daddy, and 25th percentile for weight (17 pounds and 11.5 ounces). Dr. said even though we are down in weight she is eating good and looks healthy that she is not worried about it. She should have gained a few more pounds. Maybe she will catch back up next time.

In the last month she has learned to wave bye-bye, give Hi-fives, puts her hands up on her head when you say, "Adi is sooooo BIG," clap her hands, dance to music (she gets real excited about music), started army crawling, and can pull her self up on things. We finally had to lower the crib mattress. She has been a busy girl this last month. Can't let the girl out of your sight because she will find something to get into. It's so fun watching her explore. She definitely has no fear right now. Thinks she is big stuff.

We are having so much fun with her. Now that the weather is getting nice we can take walks to the park and she loves to swing. I just can't believe in 3 months she will be the big 1. Where is this year going? My baby is growing up way to fast!!!!

St. Patty's race

We run the St. Patty's day race every year. It is crazy that a year past since the last race. Last time I was 5 months pregnant and this year I have a 7 month old to push in a stroller. Time flies.....She did great the whole 4 miles. She just people watched. It was a perfect morning to be out running. Adi sporting her St. Patty's gear and new sunglassesMandy all decked out. Adi and Mommy visit Nonna, McPapa, & Uncle Chris

Adisyn and I took a trip to Wilmington, North Carolina to visit my parents and brother for spring break. Adisyn's first plane ride. Moe had to stay home and work so it was just the 2 of us. She did so good for me. We got there late (11:30 pm) on Wed. night and came back on Sunday. Wed. was a rough night for her. She didn't sleep much like I had hoped (which is why I planned to take a late flight) So when we arrived she was so exhausted and got herself all worked up and kept crying and ended up throwing up in the car on the way to my parents. Poor thing was so upset. But once we got through all that she was just fine. We enjoyed our visit so much. It was so nice just watching Adi be with her grandparents and uncle Chris. I know she doesn't get to see them that often, so thats what made this trip to special. We just played, and played and played....She made all of us laugh A LOT!!! She took a trip to McPapa's work to meet everyone (which she was asleep for most of), her first visit to the beach (which was so windy that we didn't get to stay long, pics below), and we went for a stroll downtown Wilmington (which is really cool). I wish my parents lived closer to us so that we could make more trips like this. Thank goodness for skype. Adi loves to skype with them. She interacts with them really well and it has helped make this long distance relationship a little easier. We will see them again at the end of June, but this time Moe will get to go and we are going to the Lake house this time instead. She of course has her tongue out. If she is outside and there is wind she has her tongue out. I will never understand the tongue thing, trust me it is hard to get a pick of her with the tongue in her mouth, what can I say, She is silly....

Sleepy Time!!

One night Adisyn was just jumping and all of sudden she laid her head on her hands and fell right to sleep. I guess she just wore herself out. We were laughing because she would jump in her sleep too. I love how precious she looks when she is sleeping....She is just as precious when she is awake too!!!
