Adisyn is 16 Weeks Old

WOW.... has the time flown by. Adisyn had her 4 month check-up on Fri. She is doing great. Right on schedule. She now weighs 13.5 pounds (75th percentile for weight) and is 23.5 inches long (50th percentile for height). She cried harder and longer with her shots this time. Poor thing had no idea what was coming. She is smiling, giggling, grabbing toys and putting them to her mouth, can lift her head up when on stomach, can hold her head up on her own, and can bare her weight on her legs. She loves standing in your lap now, she thinks she is big stuff:) She sleeps through the night sometimes. We go through a period where she does great and then one night she decided she wants up to eat every 3 hours, but we are getting way more sleep now and life is getting easier in the Mulhall household. We love having her around. She makes us laugh every day. The Dr. gave us the ok to start rice cereal so I will post pictures and the experience with that. She is eating on average 6 oz. every 4 hours. She is a healthy girl and we couldn't ask for more!!!

Moe Ran His First Half Marathon

I am so proud of my honey. He worked so hard for this. He ran it in 1 hour 48 min. If you don't want to do the math that is a little over 8 minute miles. I was pretty amazed considering he was training for this all while working, going to school, and taking care of a newborn. That is what I call dedication. He would come home from work (which he gets up around 4am) and run for 1-2 hours every other day and then shower and go to class till 9ish. He was so exhausted esp when you have a newborn getting up every 3 hours to eat.Even though he wasn't always getting up with her, he couldn't help but hear her and wake up every time we did. He is a trooper. I couldn't help but get emotional when he passed by Adisyn and I and went across that finish line. I am so proud of him for putting his mind to something and accomplishing it. Not only can he say he ran a half marathon but he can say he ran it in less than 2 hours. My husband is so amazing to me. He is someone I am so proud to call my husband and a wonderful father to our beautiful daughter. Good work Honey you are truly AMAZING!! You can do anything you put your mind to. I love you!!!The group that ran.

Pumpkin Patch

We had so much fun taking Adisyn to the pumpkin patch. She loved just looking around at everything. Looking forward to when we can take her out and she can pick out her very own pumpkin and carve it. This will be a yearly tradition for our family.

Adisyn's baptism Oct. 10,2010

First (of many) attempt for a family photo with no cooperation from the little one. We took like 10 of these and I think this was the best one and it looks like Adisyn is smirking. But oh well we tried,lol..This is a picture of Adisyn with the blanket that my Aunt Rosie made for her. It is absolutely beautiful but since it was so HOT in the church she only got to use it before the baptism. But I know she will cherish this blanket and will use it in the future too. Thanks Aunt Rosie:) And thanks to my Nanny for the bonnet (the dress had a bonnet that matched too) but I put the bow on cause she was a little fussy this morning before we left (as you can see above) (I think it was b/c we put shoes on her that didn't fit and it was squishing her toes) and once again it was to HOT for the bonnet too. But it is a bonnet that is made out of a handkerchief and when she gets married I will give it to her before she walks down the isle. How cool is that. I just thought that was the coolest idea. This also will be something she can cherish for years to come:) Thanks to everyone with their wonderful gifts and prayers!!!

Adisyn's baptism went well considering the air conditioner went out in the church and it was pretty warm in the church that morning. She only fussed a little when the preacher took her from Moe. Shortly after she was baptized she fell asleep. Doesn't she look like an angel. Well she pretty much is. She really is a GREAT baby and Moe and I feel so fortunate. This was such a great day for us and are so glad that we had so many friends and family that attended to watch this blessed event in Adisyn's life. She has so much love and support already, she is a lucky girl:) Also her dress is the one I wore when I was baptized almost 30 years ago. Isn't that amazing.. This meant so much to me that she got to wear the same dress as me. I am so glad my mom saved it and I will save it for Adisyn so that if she has a little girl she can wear it too. I think it will be so awesome if we can keep it going from generation to generation. She looked absolutely beautiful. I just love her so much:)

Go Bears!!!

Even though the Bears didn't play that well the other night, we still support them at our house all the way. Adisyn is already a fan and doesn't even know it (Moe won't give her much of a choice.) I will be making her a K-State and WV fan too... She loves sitting on her Daddy's lap and watching football (or whatever is on.) She can stare at the TV forever. Am I a bad mom for letting her watch TV already??? Oh well, whatever makes her happy is my philosophy.

I have my daddy's long eyelashes... One day she will thank him for this.
